I hope so, but my gut tells me they won't let up until the 23rd.
If the synergy that MS is attempting with Windows 8, Surface Tablets, Windows Phone, Xbox and Bing comes to fruition, then those worried investors are going to need to invest in wheel barrels to get all that profit to the bank. I believe that in a year or two, low info consumers will start to recognize the metro ui as well as Bing, because they will be on so many different devices.
If I wasn't trying to finish a bucketful of games before the new consoles get here, I'd pop in Skies Of Arcadia. I love my Dreamcast, still, in all it's low res glory.
So let me get this straight, you all think the XB1 will be the first console in history to not get better graphically over time? Or are most of you so young that you've never witnessed console launches before? This sh*t makes my head swim it's so narrow-minded.
I think a lot of them started gaming in the last decade. As a gamer that started in the late seventies, I completely agree with you. Starting with Atari 2600 through all the Nintendos up to N64, I never made purchases with resolution in mind, that started coming up with PS2 and original Xbox(this generation's Pepsi vs Coke).
It makes me wonder if this whole resolution war was started by kids that couldn't afford fancy gaming rigs like their rich friends had, so they h...
XxGOWxX, Well said.
Someone should have let him borrow Visine before he went on air, it looks like he hit the four-footer before going live.
Does this mean Gamestop will have one of those little curtained-off rooms in the back like video rental stores used to have?
Can we control the camera and position it behind the exercising women in the video? You know, to give it that realness of the gym.
My nephews would come over and play old Xbox games on the 360, but the only time I did was to bid farewell to Halo 2 multiplayer.
Yeah, I use it on my Windows Phone when I'm on trips and the pictures automatically go to my SkyDrive account, which allows my family members to check them out as I take them. As a child of the eighties, this is futuristic sh*t right there. Now, if only I could finally get that hoverboard...

Master-H, thanks, I usually point out grammatical and spelling errors, so I welcome fellow supporters of the proper use of the English language.
phoenix_dusk, It's only known by people that don't use XBL. Assumptions are the quickest shortcuts to getting to non-truths.
arexw, lol, it's why I lurk on Mother Jones, MSNBC and Huffington Post. It gets crazy on those sites' comment sections. Good times.
Exactly, I posted a link to an article above that shows how helpless American companies were to complying with the NSA. And I've heard MS complain multiple times about breach of security and individuals rights being trampled on.
Those Google barges that are essentially floating data centers that head out to international waters on occasion have me pausing for concern though.
Read this closely, you will see that American companies have no choice in complying with the NSA: http://www.theblaze.com/sto...

Microsoft has explained that the new matchmaking takes age matching into account, which I welcome with open arms for certain games. 9 times out of 10 I have no problems on Live.
I've been asking them that for years.
Exactly. And I don't think Nintendo can hang in the console arena at the moment.
